BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 25th January 2025 – The Joint Forces Headquarters of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) organised a regimental dinner in conjunction to the 17th Anniversary of JFHQ RBAF held in the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. This event was attended by the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Senior Officers and Officers with their respective spouses.
The evening began with a group photo session, the recital of Doa and a video presentation displaying the involvement and activities that have been conducted by JFHQ throughout the year 2024. After the regimental dinner reception, the event then proceeded with a speech from Yang Mulia Colonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, the Acting Commander of JFHQ RBAF. In his speech, he recalled JFHQ's involvement and success in planning and managing various activities involving training and exercises, Humanitarian Aid missions and Natural Disasters (HADR) as well as participating in national and international conferences. The event then continued with the presentation of souvenirs to the officers who have posted out, together with their spouses. Souvenirs were also presented to the officers' wives and officers who have given birth to their first child.
The ceremony was further enlivened with the accompaniment of songs performed by the members of the Second Battalion Drums and Pipe Band as well as the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Band. The evening was concluded with the recital of the Doa Penutup.
MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM BERADAT SEMOENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN MARKAS ANGKATAN BERSAMA ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI (MAB ABDB) YANG KE-17 TAHUN
BERAKAS GARISON, Sabtu, 25 Januari 2025 – Markas Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (MAB ABDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Malam Beradat sempena sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun MAB ABDB yang ke 17 Tahun. Majlis tersebut telah berlangsung di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison dan turut dihadiri oleh Pemangku Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan Pegawai-pegawai berserta isteri masing-masing.
Majlis pada malam itu dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar beramai, bacaan doa serta tayangan video yang mengimbas penglibatan serta aktibiti yang telah dirancang dan dikendalikan oleh MAB ABDB sepanjang tahun 2024. Ianya diikuti dengan makan malam dan ucapan daripada Kolonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemangku Pemerintah MAB ABDB. Dalam ucapannya, beliau mengimbas kembali penglibatan serta kejayaan MAB ABDB dalam merancang serta mengendalikan pelbagai aktibiti melibatkan latihan dan eksesais, misi bantuan kemanusiaan serta bencana alam, mesyuarat di peringkat ABDB dan juga antarabangsa. Majlis kemudiannya diteruskan dengan penyampaian cenderahati kepada Pegawai -pegawai yang telah bertukar keluar berserta dengan pasangan mereka dan juga cenderahati buat isteri pegawai-pegawai dan pegawai yang telah melahirkan anak yang pertama.
Majlis tersebut turut dimeriahkan lagi dengan iringan lagu yang telah dipersembahkan dari anggota Platun Serunai dan Tambur Batalion Kedua serta iringan muzik daripada kumpulan pancaragam Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Majlis telah disudahi dengan bacaan doa penutup.
